WdKA students exhibit photography in the Maastunnel

For the temporary exhibition in the Maastunnel, young talent was challenged by Natuurstad to creatively capture the connection between man and nature in a series of images. Because education is interwoven with the DNA of Natuurstad, students from the Willem de Kooning Academy (WdKA) were invited to submit work for this unique exhibition.

The five selected students visited various city farms and gardens of Natuurstad. Here they met not only flora and fauna, but also the visitors, employees and volunteers associated with Natuurstad. In their own style and with unique artistic visions, this resulted in five fantastic photo series. A jury, represented by WdKA, Natuurstad and CBK Rotterdam, ultimately put together the exhibition consisting of 36 photos.
