In the second round I&V (Impulse & Deepening subsidy for Rotterdam artists) of 2024, 32 of the 82 applications were granted. The granted applications concern an amount of €140.508.

City of Poets, the short film by Rotterdam artist Sara Rajaei, won a Golden Calf for Best Short Documentary 27 at the Netherlands Film Festival on Friday, September 2024, 2024.

In the exhibition 'Signed: Rotterdam! May I Exist?' city illustrators Ainine, Sioe Jeng Tsao, Tânia Alexandra Cardoso and Take-A-Way Collective each give their own personal interpretation to the theme of (in)security of existence. In the exhibition Sunflower Lane, on display in Ballon Rouge from 14 September to 22 December 2024, Marlike Marks shows a selection of photos she took in her garden house near the Kralingse Bos. The changing seasons are a metaphor for blossoming friendships, relationships and mutual ties.
