"Transiet" is a project that Aletta de Jong developed specifically for the "glass corridor" in the studio building of Stichting Bad. The corridor, which connects the short and long wings of the building, has windows on both sides—it resembles an elongated greenhouse. De Jong often works on temporary interventions at various locations. For this, she uses plant materials and minerals, combined with objects. These installations demonstrate her interest in the historical, current, and potential interactions between people and their environment.

De Jong: "For 'Transiet,' I utilized aspects specific to this location. Thanks to all the glass, there was plenty of natural light. The processes of growth (plants) and decomposition (discoloration of printed matter), activated by the sun, formed the starting point of the project. The materials I combined with the sunlight were minerals, water, printed matter, and UV filters." At the end of March 2025, the Stichting Bad (Bath Foundation) organized the exhibition 'Energy,' in which De Jong presented her project.
