The installation 'To Disappear Is To Become A Ruin' by Joost Vermeer could be seen from March 9 to April 1, 2024 at the exhibition 'C,See,Sea' in Kunsthal Kloof in Utrecht. His goal was to create a space-filling installation in which the sculptures are connected by concept and by using the same material, a home-made plaster mixture. The pig back sculptures took pride of place and created a dividing line within the space. He also placed smaller wall sculptures throughout the space that were not always immediately noticed by the public, giving the installation a more investigative character.
