The experimental film project 'Saliva Trip' by Marta Hryniuk and Nick Thomas is inspired by their interest in the legacy of psychedelics and countercultures from the 60s. They observe a renewed interest in psychedelics within science and culture as a way to resist the current visual language driven by commercial interests. The first phase of this research consists primarily of studying literature and films and conducting practical experiments. Entirely in the spirit of the 60s, they will mainly capture their own living environment using analog techniques such as double exposure and flicker, but also the 'psychedelic potential' of 360-degree digital cameras. The results of this research will be presented in the form of an artist talk.
