Phenomena 1.0 by Yara Veloso consists of new works that she made for the group exhibitions Wonder Festival and Kortrijk Art Weekend in the autumn of 2023. She made work on textile and steel constructions. The brightly colored steel works of art were placed in the frames, as doors to the next exhibition space. Veloso delved deeper into her fascination with spaces in between, or liminal space. The works resembled sketches of our senses - eyes, ears and fingers - and thus obstruct and rearrange the visitor's view of reality.
