'Old en New #2' was the second edition of a series of exhibitions initiated by Micha Prinsen, Pip Passchier and
Joep Brouwer. After a successful first edition in the old studio of Joep Brouwer and Micha Prinsen, the artists have the
Second edition expanded. In addition to showing their own work, each artist has invited another artist to
also to show work. The three invited artists were Thom van Rijckevorsel (NL), Willem Roekaers (BE) and
Thomas Birsak (NL). The artists' works ranged from paintings to installations. At the same time, the
They collaborate in material, themes, and use of color. The exhibition gave shape to the idea of ​​a changing space, from old to new; the Sports Canteen was renovated during and around the exhibition. This gave the makers the opportunity to arrange the space freely and to use the concept of building and renovating as the starting point and backdrop for the exhibition. In addition to the exhibition, the artists have also set up a space as a print shop. Here
works by various makers were on display and for sale.
