In her work, Carla Klein is always concerned with scaling up and down and how that works in a painting, or, in a series of paintings. When she was invited to make a mural as part of the group exhibition 'Tele Grey Flamingo Pink', it suited her well. Klein uses photography as a starting point. She blurs the boundaries between digital and analogue and lifts familiar landscapes to an abstraction. Her work, together with that of Nanna van Heest and Marleen van Wijngaarden, was on display at Murals Inc. from 8 December 2024 to 14 March 2025.
