During the exhibition Long Limbed Homes at punt WG in Amsterdam, artist Nadine Ghandour exhibited her work Scaffold Heights and gave two performances. The exhibition revolved around the emergence and decay of architecture. Scaffold Heights (charcoal on paper, 195x250 cm) is a compilation of drawings that refer to scaffolding. The internal logic of each of the fifteen sheets of paper does not quite align with the next. Instead of a temporary construction, the scaffolding is presented here as the final stage. The work draws on the sense of dizziness that many people experience in the rapid development of cities.
