In Watchet, England, Alice Ladenburg initiated a project with the local community, collecting leaves, telling stories and using mapping to explore the natural environment. After online research and consultation with fellow artists, Ladenburg developed a workshop and experimented with leaf printing processes. During her stay in England she further developed her ideas by exploring the area and having conversations. The workshop, in which participants shared their stories and made leaf prints, was well received and resulted in an exhibition at East Quay. This led to further collaborations and invitations for future projects and exhibitions.
