Thanks to support from the Praktijkbijdrage, Clementine Edwards was able to develop and organize a monthly reading group series that took place at Rib Rotterdam. 'First Wednesday Reading Group' discussed translated science fiction each month, focusing on how texts can create worlds and situating these stories in different cultural and temporal contexts. The aim was to explore the experience of 'queer lives' in language in an open and fluid way that leaves room for personal interpretation. The first reading group took place on October 2, 2024. The book that was central was Izumi Suzuki's 'Women & Women'.
