Thanks to the Practical Contribution, Jet Siemons was able to further develop and realize her solo exhibition 'I Know This Much Is True' through Ballon Rouge's Talent Trajectory. Under the guidance of curator Mira Matic, photographer Anaïs López, gallery owner Marlike Marks, and Head of Talent Development Sanne Romeijn, Siemons deepened her research into the Witte Wieven and her family history. Archival material from her grandparents was given a central place in the exhibition, including in a specially assembled altar. The artist also involved her mother in the project, resulting in a large charcoal drawing that connected the various works. Alongside the exhibition, Siemons organized Ghost Tours and a Storytelling Evening, focusing on encounters and storytelling. Siemons: 'The high level of visitor engagement confirmed for me the importance of shared experiences within my artistic practice. The project has not only led to a successful exhibition but also to a significant deepening of my artistic development and professional practice.'
