For 'Heal All', Toine Klaassen went on a voyage of discovery with, in and around the cultural community centre WOLk. He searched for materials and objects that reflect our perception of time and environment. By distorting and rearranging them, he wanted to give them a new meaning, so that reflection and new rituals could arise. This led to an art installation and five interactive performances that formed a whole over the course of six months. In the installation, drawings, paintings and artworks tell the story of the Dutch Bushman, Klaassen's alter ego as an artist. The performances were performed over a period of six months, both alone and in collaboration with artists and local residents. For example, the third performance consisted of a shower with sunflower seeds, in which the seeds not only fell on his body as water droplets, but also on 'singing bowls' made from an old bicycle, telephone bells and saucers. For the fourth performance, he invited local children for an interactive performance, in which inventions by Klaassen as Dutch Bushman were tested. After each performance he added 'leftovers' to the installation, allowing it to grow over time.
