FARM by Cindy Bakker is an installation of nine hay bales that visualizes the memory of her youth. Bakker grew up on a farm - hay bales, cows and pasture were part of her childhood. Her work is sculptural and often inspired by shapes and colors that are common in everyday life. The space the work occupies is central. Everyday elements are used to literally add color to the exhibition. FARM was on display during the exhibition 'Colorful Gestures' in Pictura Dordrecht.
