From April 7 to 17, 2025, Bambí Benkö stayed in Kiev, Ukraine for the project 'Dreaming Between the Sirens'. The occasion was the tenth anniversary of Rhythm Büro, the techno label of their friend and colleague Vera Logdanidi. During a two-day rave festival at the Dovzhenko film studio, they presented 'Earthseed', an inflatable light installation that was awarded the Brutus Arts Prize in 2023. Benkö: 'Partying in Kiev during wartime is complex: during the day, due to the curfew, and often improvised. For example, the technician was called up for military service just before the festival, which meant that parts of the lighting were missing.' The installation offered visitors a moment of peace, reflection and imagination — a place to dream. The reactions were moving. The conversations that arose were surprisingly often about regaining control over life.'
