For the theatre performance 'De Zee', an initiative of the Rotterdam collectives Rotjong and Ouwe Rotten, Marieke van der Lippe developed a conceptual basis and the visual video decor. From personal associations of the participants with the work, text, dance and music were developed, which led to a poetic performance under the direction of Marielle van der Griendt. The performances took place in Rotterdam neighbourhood theatres.
