Dark Harbor - New Light in ship Geertruida is a fifteen-minute experience that took place during Rotterdam Museum Night 2022 in ship Geertruida, part of the Maritime Museum. The experience led visitors past five paintings by Caroline Bijvoet. Bijvoet: 'Apparently the port of Rotterdam seems to have disappeared. The invisible power of the port, as a motor for the city, has been made tangible with this installation. Spacious, rough, empty. Movement of water, machines, tail lifts, dark sounds, fragments of the city. And somewhere in this plain man. Visitors experienced all this individually by using the headphones.'
