The 19th series of Conversas Rotterdam took place from October 2024 to March 2025 and encouraged conversations and exchanges between people from different disciplines and cultural backgrounds. This included artists, designers, researchers, activists, healthcare professionals and educators, who are somehow connected to Rotterdam. During ten gatherings, thirty ‘Conversadores’ shared their current projects, research and life/work stories. Topics ranged from artistic and community-building practices to environmental issues, philosophical questions and spiritual themes.

Thanks to the support of CBK Rotterdam, Conversas remained free and accessible. The funding covered the organisers’ fees and ensured smooth coordination, day-of organisation and post-production. The upcoming printed publication, designed by Sadie Girigorie and Sevgi Tan, will capture key insights. Constança Saraiva and Weronika Zielińska-Klein reflect on their experiences of motherhood and caregiving in relation to Conversas.
