With the art project 'City Tracing' Dennis Muñoz Espadiña connects the cities of Barcelona, ​​Rome and Rotterdam with each other by means of frottage, cartography and musical performances. The first phase consisted of a walking session through Barcelona along waterworks such as aqueducts and canals, during which the participants recorded the texture of walls, paving stones and other street objects by making prints of them with pencil and paper. During the walk, field recordings were made that show the changing landscape, from rural to urban. In the autumn, the artist presented a cassette with these recordings in combination with the frottages in his own studio to a small audience.
