At the invitation of Big Art, the pop-up platform for large works of art in and around Amsterdam, artist Jake Kelly created a new installation. The work of manually dyed and intuitively woven hemp thread, and interwoven with polished copper tubes, was no less than seven meters long and seven meters wide. It seemed to float above the floor and the light created special shadows. The work was specifically made for this place: a former prison. The work is constructed from material from previous work, in order to reuse as much as possible and create as little waste as possible.
