For the project 'As Requested', Myrte van der Molen created a video installation of images she previously made for a short fiction film of the same name. By experimenting with different spatial arrangements in her studio, she investigated the added value of these arrangements and the complete scenes, which would not be shown in full in the edited version. During the tests, the artist discovered that the film mainly consisted of spoken scenes, which made it difficult to turn it into an installation. In the end, the imaginative layer in the film turned out to work best in the spatial arrangement, together with the clay works that were included in the film and depict the emotional experience of the main character. By placing the clay works in the space, she made this layer, which runs like a thread through the short film, the leading form in the installation. Van der Molen presented the result in her studio during the Groot Rotterdams Atelier Weekend (GRAW).
