Following her research during the Goethe Investigating program on the past and future of the Rhine, Unger developed a public performance about the river that flows through the city of Cologne. The source of inspiration was a short story by Anna Seghers. During her performances at Kunstraum Christina 6 in Cologne, Unger projected her model landscapes folded from baking paper while telling stories about the river.
