We're looking for two trans/queer/fem(me) participants **BASED IN ROTTERDAM** who will join a small group to experiment together with embodied ways of “lying” to lie-detection technologies, drawing on queer and feminist approaches to surveillance and resistance.
The workshop takes place on 19-20 February (full days) in Rotterdam. A small crew will be present to document the process which will result in a short documentary film and academic publication(s).
Financial compensation for research participants follows the standard hourly rates set by Leiden University. We will also cover meals and travel costs for both days.
If interested, please send an email to c.bae@fsw.leidingenuniv.nl with a short introduction of yourself including how you relate to queerness/femmeness, and why you want to join.
Please only apply if you are available for both days of the workshop.
BIPOC and transfems are strongly encouraged to apply!
For any questions, please email the researcher/filmmaker:
