Workshop series for visual artists | November 2026 – March 2027
As a visual artist, you are engaged in creating, researching, developing, and presenting on a daily basis. But how do you care for everything you have built up over time? How do you maintain an overview of your work, archive, and documentation? What do you want to preserve, make visible, or pass on? And how do you see the future of your artistic practice?
In the workshop series Caring for the Future Take the time to reflect on these questions. In five sessions, you explore the various components of actively managing your artistry. You examine your oeuvre, archive, stories, networks, and future plans, and receive practical tools to continue working on this yourself.
Through discussions, exercises, and exchange with other artists, you work on gaining more overview and insight into your practice and a personal vision for it. Topics such as documentation, archiving, copyright, tax matters, and possible forms of future management are also covered.

The series is intended for visual artists at various stages of their careers and with diverse practices: from object and installation to performance, digital, collective, and process-oriented work.
