My work currently consists of making paintings and works on paper. I mainly work in series where, after inner reflection, works arise around certain themes. I try to approach and explore these themes in different ways. In addition to intuition and emotion, spontaneity and vitality are the motives for me to express my personal vision. In my work I strive to integrate the conceptual and the intuitive. World literature, poetry, ancient myths and painting itself are a source of inspiration for my work. In my work there is a combination of abstraction and figuration. Language, in the form of words, core concepts and text parts relevant to me, play a role in the works. The language elements mark the images and in turn evoke images themselves. There is also a certain erotic tension in a large part of my work, which, as it were, forms an undertone of the work.
