"Talk it over"
Talk It Over is a multidisciplinary performance created by Charlotte Puebla Coenen and Laila Claessen. Or actually, it is the first draft of a performance about the strange things that happen when reality doesn't behave the way we imagined it would. The work grew out of our first artistic encounter during a two-week residency at De Nijverheid, in collaboration with Amarte, in July 2026.

Dance theater piece + urban disruption: 'Oo"
Two pigeons land on a dusty stage. This time there is no bench to linger on, but a crowd of eyes to feed. The inseparable duet, dances an ode to quirky, old bodies grooving on the pavements. "Oo" opens a satyrical reflection on metropolitan grayness and forgotten selves. Between humor and melancholy, Oo asks you:

The piece explores urban existence through the PiGeON, marginal yet omnipresent animal that become our totemic figure.
The project started after the find of a dead pigeon, whose anonymity evoked a reflection on invisibility, resilience within metropolitan right-wing systems shaped by neo-capitalism and systemic violence. Through choreography, physical theater, text, and visual elements, Oo develops a transdisciplinary language.

Wrapping / identity
A paper creature unfolds. Layer by layer, revealing the fragile boundary between reality and imaginary. Surreal visions bring characters to life, revealing through dance and mime a raw exploration of identity. As it wraps and unwraps, both the paper entity and the androgynous character forge an intimate bond. Accompanied by the original sound composition and performance of Otto Rissanen.
